Pusha T is never afraid to speak his mind, and in his new song “So Be It,” he takes direct aim at Travis Scott. At first, fans thought the song was about Kanye West, but Pusha has now made it clear that his target is Travis.
Pusha T and his brother No Malice are bringing back their legendary group Clipse with a new album titled Let God Sort Em Out. It’s their first album together in 15 years. The first single, “Ace Trumpets,” made big impact. Now, the second single, “So Be It,” is causing even more drama.
Fans Thought Pusha Was Dissing Kanye with the lyrics
When the song dropped, many thought Pusha was dissing Kanye West. But in a new interview with GQ, Pusha said he was actually talking about Travis Scott. The final verse of the song even mentions Travis’ album Utopia and jokes about Kylie Jenner being with Timothée Chalamet.
This diss surprised fans, but Pusha explained that the bad blood goes back to 2023.
It all Started in Paris with Pharrell
In 2023, Travis visited Pharrell Williams and Clipse at a studio in Paris, where they were working on their new album. Travis wanted to play his new music, including the song “Meltdown.” He showed up excited, laughing and jumping around, but Pusha wasn’t impressed.

Travis played “Meltdown” for them but did not include Drake’s verse. That part of the song came out later shocking everyone. In the verse, Drake insulted Pharrell, who is a long-time friend and producer for Pusha and Clipse.
This was a major betrayal to Pusha.
Pusha T Calls Travis Scott a “Whore”
In his interview with GQ, Pusha said Travis was being fake. He called him out for acting friendly during the studio visit, only to let a song come out later that insulted Pharrell.
“I’ve been away from that crew for a while,” Pusha said, talking about Kanye West and GOOD Music. “So don’t come around acting like everything is cool.”
Pusha T further said
“To me, that was just like a whore. He’s a whore,” he said.
Pusha believes Travis plays both sides and has no loyalty. He said Travis tries to stay on everyone’s good side but ends up being disrespectful.
“It’s the principle,” Pusha said. “That dirty behavior, that lack of loyalty. Travis really has that. I can name three people he’s done that to. I’m just not one of them. I don’t play like that.”
Pusha made it clear: he’s not being dramatic. He’s just tired of fake behavior and wants to make it known.
Will Travis Scott Respond?
So far, Travis Scott hasn’t said anything. But fans are waiting to see if he’ll respond with a song of his own. If he does, this could turn to one of the biggest rap beefs of the year.

Pusha’s bars in “So Be It” are sharp and direct, showing that he’s not afraid to call names. With Clipse’s album coming soon, this may be just the beginning of what he has to say.
Pusha T is reminding everyone why he’s one of the most respected names in hip-hop and he’s doing it by telling the truth, no matter who gets upset.
