Cardi B is stepping into yet another exciting chapter of her life motherhood, once again! The Grammy-winning rapper has revealed that she’s pregnant with her fourth child, this time with her boyfriend, NFL wide receiver Stefon Diggs.
The announcement has fans buzzing, not only because it’s big family news but also because of what Cardi shared about love, career, and strength during this new journey.
A Growing Family
Already a proud mother of three, daughters Blossom and Kulture and son Wave Cardi B is no stranger to balancing motherhood with superstardom. Now, at 32, the “I Like It” rapper is preparing to welcome baby number four, due in February.
In a heartfelt interview with Gayle King on CBS Mornings, Cardi confirmed the news with a smile:
“I’m having a baby with my boyfriend, Stefon Diggs.”

Cardi emphasized that this pregnancy feels different in the best way.
“I feel like I’m in a good space. I feel very strong, very powerful that I’m doing all this work but I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby.”

Inside Her Relationship With Stefon Diggs
Cardi’s relationship with Stefon Diggs, 31, has been heating up since late 2024. Diggs, a wide receiver for the New England Patriots, first sparked dating rumors with Cardi after they were spotted attending the same events, though they kept their entrances separate.
The couple finally confirmed their romance publicly in May 2025 when they were seen courtside at a Boston Celtics vs. New York Knicks game at Madison Square Garden.
Speaking with King, Cardi opened up about what makes their relationship strong:
“Me and my man, we’re very supportive of each other. We’re like in the same space in our careers. We’re never, like, comfortable. We just have to keep going.”
Stefon Diggs Makes Cardi Feel “Safe”
For Cardi, safety and confidence are key and Diggs provides both. She playfully joked about his size, telling King:
“You see how big he is.”
But beyond the laughs, she got real about how much his presence means. Two weeks ago, she revealed she had a panic attack tied to her upcoming album release, saying she was overwhelmed by criticism online. Diggs was her rock in that moment.
“He was just like, ‘Girl, you better get it together.’ … Feeling safe, feeling confident, it makes you feel like you can take over the world.”
Keeping the Pregnancy Secret
While fans speculated for months, Cardi carefully avoided confirming her pregnancy until she was ready. She admitted she wanted to make the announcement on her own terms:
“I just was like, ‘Can I just say it on my own time?’ … Let me close some deals first. Let me see a couple of more sonograms. Let my baby be healthy.”
Even her parents were in the dark until recently! Cardi admitted she was nervous to tell them:
“I’m very scared of my parents!”
Luckily, she said they do like Diggs, which surely makes the news easier to share.
Family Dynamics: Blending Love and Parenthood
This baby will be Diggs’ second child. He’s already a dad to daughter Nova, born in October 2016.
Meanwhile, Cardi shares her three kids with her estranged husband, rapper Offset. Together they co-parent:
